HGC-2 Application Notes
1. HGC 2 gives ‘ground fault’ errors on GUI
Background:
Customer reported the controller malfunctioning and reporting ‘Ground Faults’ on the GUI.
Issue traced to electrically dirty / noisy low voltage DC supply to the HGC 2 unit, causing the internal circuitry to reset and be unstable.
2. HGC-2 Infra-red communications cable not recognized by PC running Windows 2000
Background:
Customer reported being unable to communicate with HGC-2 via IR communications cable and suspected compatibility with Windows 2000 to be issue.
3. HGC Tech Note - 1
Background: If the HGC has separate low voltage supply wires run to the battery, there is no issue, if they connect it to a local supply in the cab, the sensor has a problem.
