1)       Are there any designated Signal Common pins for each of the analog/universal pins, or do we just run them straight back to ground?

No, there are no designated Signal Common Pins on the DVC7. Use the extra GND pins if available or use a terminal block for the grounds as close to the module as possible.

2)       Are all sensors to be run off the E3 Ref Out pin instead of each having their own?

Yes, the Reference Output will supply 5 Volts up to 500mA.

3)       Are all grounds on the controller to be connected to ground, or are some reserved for other things (i.e. signal common, communication ground, etc)?

Use what you need.  Remember not to run more then 8 amps through any one Power or Ground Pin, I recommend planning for 5 amps each.  Anything left over may be used as you see fit.
